Knowledge Base Settings

The Knowledge Base Settings allow you to customize and manage how your knowledge base appears and functions for both your team and your customers. Proper configuration ensures your knowledge base is easy to use, up-to-date, and aligned with your brand.

Accessing Settings

  • From your Knowledge Base dashboard, click the Settings button at the top of the page.
  • Here, you can update the name and description of your knowledge base, making it clear and inviting for users.

Key Settings

  • Name & Description: Set a descriptive name and summary to help users understand the purpose and scope of your knowledge base.
  • Branding: Customize the appearance to match your company’s look and feel (where available).

Public Access

  • When your knowledge base is published, you’ll see a public URL displayed at the top of the dashboard. Share this link with your customers or embed it in your website.
  • You can preview your public knowledge base at any time by clicking the View button.

Custom Domain

  • You can assign your public Knowledge Base to a custom domain, e.g "kb.mydomain.com" or "support.mydomain.com" etc. This requires a paid plan.

Tip: Regularly review your settings and content to ensure your knowledge base remains accurate, helpful, and aligned with your support goals.
